Our Crazy Idea

Aaron was never a traditionalist. When we knew he wasn’t making it out of this alive we started talking about where he wanted his remains to rest when it was all over. The consistent theme was to be a part of nature. This is the idea that stuck.

Aaron will be cremated and some of those remains will be placed in small boxes of biodegradable paper with wildflower seeds. We are asking that you each take one or two boxes and plant Aaron in a favorite place. Maybe it’s someplace you shared with Aaron, maybe it’s one of your favorite places, or maybe it’s just a fun spot. No awards will be given for the strangest, but you can take pride if it’s a good one!

Take note of the location and place a marker on the map on this website. Please add a personal note and at least one picture.

The boys and anyone else will be able to visit these spots to find a little bit of their Dad and think about all of the people and places he has touched.
